“I bought this kayak based on the weight, hull construction, length and my body size, I find the kayak easy to handle in both calm water and rough water (open water swept by wind). It is very easy to maneuver due to the rocker hull, it turns with a single blow, so it is easy to maneuver in narrow channels  also turns easily. The kayak has very good directional control.. I used the skeg several times to counteract crosswinds to keep a straight line when crossing open water. The seat has many adjustment options which makes long paddling very comfortable. Overall I am very happy with the kayak and can only recommend it.”
