Kayak clothing

The most important elements of kayak clothing are probably the kayak jacket (Dryjacket) and the kayak pants. Kayak jackets can often be made of goretex or some kind of breathable polyester. What sums them up is that they have a bat design. That way, they don't strain when moving the kayak paddle, and the kayaker can dress underneath, even in winter. It is also characteristic that the waist part can be tightened (there is often a neoprene belt sewn up at the bottom) and can form a waterproof unit with the wave apron underneath. Drysuits, completely dry clothes, also have a part of pants, even if they fall into water, they don't get into it anywhere, and they also have a part of socks. These, like kayak dry jackets, have welded seams. Kayak pants can be made of neoprene - these are the more affordable goods, or they can be made of breathable jacket material, these are the Premium pieces, of the latter, I recommend only the ones with foot socks.
Kayaking gloves and shoes are made of neoprene. We primarily prefer the English brands REED and PALM.
