If you don't want to replace your old kayak, bring it to our service!
Basically we deal with polyethylene kayaks , so our service activities are also aligned with this.
Polyethylene kayaks are cast from one piece so they don't break, they don't contain glue so they don't glue. If they are cracked by a sharp stone or steel, we weld them with our own materials. Here, amounts of about HUF 100-6,000 can occur, depending on the nature of the crack. With the same welding, we can place subsequent fixing tabs on the polyethylene kayaks, HUF 1000 per piece.
The most common service request is the installation of a kayak with a rudder. Several solutions are possible here. If the touring kayak does not have a footrest suitable for controlling the rudder, we must install it first. This costs HUF 15-17,000. Please do not apply with more TaheMarine, Point 65 and Seabird rudder repairs, because these are Chinese plastics for which we cannot guarantee the welding or the material thickness of these kayaks is so uneven that it is difficult to repair them.
If there is a way to use the existing footrest in any way, we will convert it.
If the kayak is so-called rudder prepared, then we only need to install the rudder. The cost of this: European rudders HUF 35,000, American rudders HUF 50,000. If the kayak is not equipped with a rudder, then the cable tube between the footrest and the rudder must be made, in which the control steel or Kevlar line runs. This is about HUF 12,000. It can also be a problem that there is no place for the steering wheel shaft, if there is a way to fix it, it is about HUF 3-4,000.
Another common problem is the construction of water-tight sealing walls for touring kayaks or the re-insulation of existing ones. The re-insulation is 5000ft/closing wall, if the kayak is very dirty, it is 6500/closing wall. We also undertake the creation of a new closing wall from factory materials with a wall thickness of eight cm, this is 6500 ft/pc.
In the case of expedition kayaks, it happens that the storage cover (cover) is lost, we also deal with the acquisition of such. Round rubber compartments are around HUF 10,000, oval ones are around HUF 15-17,000.
The area around the seat can also cause problems for kayakers because here is the 'comfort'.
We install a factory butt pillow for HUF 10,000 and our own design for HUF 5,000.
These are foreign materials, they cannot be sat on, they are not absorbent.
A frequent problem is touring or sea kayaks are the backrest. If this is uncomfortable for the kayaker, it may be the wrong form, but it may also be the result of poorly designed suspension or incomplete covering. We have adjusted backrests many times, there are as many types as companies, I will write about type problems later. In short, we can install a universal backrest for HUF 10,000 in the worst case.
Line guides: the rudder pull-up lines, or the kayak hide rope goes through so-called rope guides, we can find a solution for HUF 500-2000/pc.
We can stick an inner soft covering around the thighs and knees, this is not an amount, it depends on the kayak.
We also install pack securing nets on the kayak; HUF 5,000/piece, and package fixing rubber cord HUF 300/meter.
