Sea kayaks are fast but stable touring kayaks. Let's say something quickly: all sea kayaks are river kayaks (or flat water kayaks), but most river kayaks are not sea kayaks. From the point of view of rowing, the lake and the river are a subset of the sea, but the reverse is not true. A calm sea is like a lake, but a stormy, windy sea is a much more difficult task than, for example, any Danube. Of course, most people buy sea kayaks for inland, rivers, and lakes because they are much more comfortable and stress-free to paddle than their simple river counterparts, and they are generally much more durable and resistant.
Sea kayaks range in size from 4 to 6 meters and weigh from 23 to 40 kg. It is almost certain that they are kayaks with at least 2 waterproof cargo compartments, with a wave apron, strong, well-adjustable footrests, often with thigh supports, large-surface, anatomical seats, adjustable backrests, and often with a skeg or steering wheel.

The really reliable ones are usually made in Europe or in the USA by rotation from serious UV-resistant polyethylene. Few people know the rule in the European seas and oceans that the coasts are more than 1.5 nautical miles away, only so-called Only certified sea kayaks (Seakayaks) equipped with Deck Linen (ship perimeter rigging), Sprichdeck, waterproof luggage storage and with a minimum length of 4 meters can leave it.
