Abaco embodies the true mix of kayaking and fishing. This is the most thoughtful fishing development of the RTM company. Its development started with the well-proven K-largo kayak, but an even lighter and more maneuverable kayak was developed by French kayak designers in cooperation with American fishing professionals. Like the K-largo, the kayak has a huge cargo compartment that can be lifted out. Under our feet lies a flat storage box full of our fishing accessories, accessible on the go.
5 fishing rod holders serve our fishing. Various seats fit the kayak, among which there is a spinal support that can be adjusted with Velcro or a chair-like seat that can be raised higher. At the bottom of the boat, you can immediately measure the length of the fish with the drawn meter.
However, the great merit of the Abaco fishing kayak is that it has excellent ride characteristics.
This kayak is so stable that when I paddled it for the first time on the Adriatic at a kayak test on the island of Hvar, all I had left was a single-headed paddlesurf paddle. So, standing in the kayak, I went to paddle among the paddlesurfers. Stand-up paddling was child's play. This kayak is very stable! When I finally got a kayak paddle, I was surprised at how fast it was combined with great stability. This fishing kayak glides beautifully on the water. And this boat excels on rivers, lakes, seas and wilder waters alike. Optionally, you can put an inflated tire on it, for which the place on the stern of the kayak has been prepared. This can be left on while driving, it does not interfere with rowing. I seriously think this is the best European fishing kayak ever made.
